Welcome to the Mathematical Issue!
I'm not going to blame my grade nine mathematics
teacher for my inability to pass her class. The reason
lies somewhere in the middle of her old school
methods, that brought back memories of my not-so-
nice grade one teacher, and my inability to grasp that
math is a logical process.
To make a long story short, I spent 2 years in grade
nine mathematics. However, a miracle (to me and my
entire family) occurred once I struggled my way into
grade ten math - I averaged 96% and by the end of
grade eleven math I was tutoring other students.
My deepest gratitude goes out to the teacher who
was my mathematical miracle worker. East
York Collegiate 1985/86.
I learnt some very valuable lessons from
the 'mathematical miracle'
- You can overcome barriers no matter how
big they appear
- Math is about doing what's inside the brackets
first
All these years later I can confidently say that being
and feeling organized is what is needed first. It's like
doing what's 'inside the brackets'. It's the core
process for success. Kaos Group creates core
operational processes for people in their personal
lives and in their professional lives.
The barrier may be getting started or it may be
enhancing a system that already exists and we offer
