Need a babysitter? Call the sitter and book her/him as soon as you receive your invitation.

Buying gifts for more than one? Create a spread sheet of who you are buying for, what you plan to buy, what the cost is, and a check box for when you purchase it. This is also great way keep you on budget during the season.

Need Wine? Consider purchasing a case or two of your favorite wine so you don’t have to go to the store each time you are invited out or when guests drop by.

On line ordering – plan and order early so that items are received in good time.

Sending out greeting cards? Determine how many cards you’ll need, buy the stamps ahead of time, print address labels from your computer, and schedule a few hours to start and finish in one evening.

I was so furious because at my old apartment I used to walk in the door and throw my keys in my hanging shoe rack so I always knew where they were, but of course at this time I can’t even find that!
